helping to develop speaking and leadership skills
Wokingham Speakers Club

Would you like to be effective and powerful when presenting?
Does the thought of speaking in public fill you with dread?
Do you want to give better business presentations?
Are you worried people will see your hands shaking and knees knocking?
Looking to develop speaking and leadership skills?
Or do you just want to be able to speak with more confidence?

Wokingham Speakers can help
We are a new friendly and supportive club, dedicated to helping you develop public speaking, communication and leadership skills. Whether for business, career, or to make that important family speech, we can help and support you.
Wokingham Speakers club meets twice a month in Wokingham, Berkshire, on the first and third Tuesday evening. Each meeting is a“ learn-by-doing” workshop, consisting of both prepared speeches or presentations and brief, impromptu talks. There is no instructor in a meeting. Instead, members evaluate each other's presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the programme.
Our membership is a real mix: all ages, many different backgrounds and occupations; and each member joined for their own reason. We are affiliated to Toastmasters International, a non-profit organisation which has been improving its members’ speaking skills and confidence since 1924! So the programme and resources we use are tried, tested and proven.
