helping to develop speaking and leadership skills
Wokingham Speakers Club

Come along and see for yourself what happens at one of our meetings. Guests and new members always get a very warm welcome.
We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. Our meetings start promptly at 7.30pm and finish at 9.40pm.
We meet in the Rose Room in the Methodist Centre in Rose Street in Wokingham town centre. Access to this room is directly off Rose Street, not via the main entrance to the Centre.
At this time of the day, there is always plenty of free parking available nearby. The nearest car parks are Rose Street car park right next to the Centre and the Waitrose car park, off Rectory Road - about 1 minute's walk away. The railway station is around 5 minutes away.
Our meetings are always well-stuctured and time is managed closely. We believe that one of the characteristics of good speaking is good time-keeping! The tone of every meeting is one of supportive, constructive collaboration. We are all learning to become better speakers and we can only achieve this through helping each other.
